Job 02·Visibility

Know where every load is. Without asking.

Check calls are the tax on not knowing. Tandem watches location, ETA, and dwell on every load at once, and moves the status itself as the truck clears each geofence — so the phone call stops being the job.

Job 02·Visibility

Know where every load is — without asking.

Tandem watches location, ETA, and dwell on every load at once, and moves the status itself as the truck clears each geofence. The check call stops being a phone call.

  • Geofence check-ins, not phone calls — the status moves when the truck does.
  • A live ETA the moment a load starts to drift, not after it's already late.
  • Dwell and detention flagged at the dock, while you can still do something about it.
Last shift · 98% of loads tracked end to end, zero check calls

What you get

The check call, retired.

Geofence check-ins, not phone calls

The status advances when the truck clears the pickup, the line haul, and the delivery — no dispatcher dialing for an update the system already has.

A live ETA before a load drifts

Tandem flags a slipping ETA the moment it starts to drift, not after the appointment is already blown and the customer is already calling.

Dwell and detention at the dock

Time at a shipper is tracked as it happens, so detention is flagged while the driver is still there and the claim is still collectible.

One screen, every truck

The whole board's location and status on one surface — no tab per carrier, no spreadsheet of last-known positions to keep current by hand.

How it works

How load tracking works without check calls

How Tandem keeps a live status on every load while the phone stays on the hook.

  1. 01

    Connect the location source

Tandem pulls position from the ELD, the carrier's app, or a tracking link — whatever the carrier already runs.

  2. 02

    Geofences mark the milestones

Pickup, delivery, and key waypoints are geofenced, so arrival and departure are recorded as events instead of phone calls.

  3. 03

    The status moves itself

As the truck clears each geofence, Tandem advances the load status and recalculates the ETA.

  4. 04

    Exceptions rise to the top

A drift, a long dwell, or a missed window is flagged for a dispatcher; everything on schedule stays quiet.

Questions

Frequently asked

How does Tandem track loads without check calls?

Tandem reads location from the carrier's ELD, app, or tracking link and uses geofences at pickup and delivery to detect arrival and departure. The status advances on those events, so a dispatcher gets the update without making a call.

What if a carrier won't share tracking?

Tandem still runs the load and falls back to a scheduled SMS check-in with the driver, reading the reply for status. A carrier that goes dark right after dispatch is also flagged — a known warning sign worth a second look.

Does the driver need an app for tracking?

No. Tandem works with the ELD or tracking the carrier already has, and for everything else it texts the driver directly. There is no app for the driver to download.
